Studio Album "Psalm Of Extinction " pr?sentiert sich Pain mit ?berwiegend eingehenden Songs und einfach gestricktem Songwriting. Im Vergleich zu den Vorg?nger Alben sind hier die Songs sogar tanzbar, wenn man das so beschreiben darf. Was mit Sicherheit damit zu tun hat das Peter T?gtgren hier mehr auf melodische Atmosphere gesetzt hat und dem Groove etwas Catch verpasst hat. Aber in den Songs sind immer wieder Steigerungen vorhanden die mal deftig r?ber kommen mal groovy. Song 8 "Computer God" birgt einen treibenden Groove und hat gut Drive mit dem entsprechender Industrialmetal Touch.Zum ersten mal in der Geschichte von Pain hat er sich Gastmusiker eingeladen. Mit beteilig waren Peter Iwers von In Flames und Alexi Laiho sowie Mikkey Dee von Mot?rhead. Erschienen ist das Album "Psalm Of Extinction" am 04.05.2007 ?ber Roadrunner Records.
