We Are The Catalyst: Monuments Video - Fight For Air - online

Varberg, Sweden - No matter the size of the band, if they are serious and if they are being totally honest, there are always slight misgivings about releasing a new album. We Are The Catalyst are definitely in the "confident about their new music" camp and with good reason. Their latest album "Monuments", out today, is getting comments like...

And if this were not enough, the band got an additional big pat on the back from Sony Playstation who recently featured 3 of their videos on their Vidzone service alongside AC/DC, Aerosmith, Avenge Sevenfold and Judas Priest.

Guitarist Kenny Boufadene said "We are really delighted with the feedback for the album and of course we are excited for the fans, many of whom we know have been counting the days until they could get their hand on the new album". "We plan on touring in support of the album in 2015 and can't wait to play the new material for old and new fans alike." added Cat Fey, WATC's stunning vocalist. The single and video for Fight For Air can be viewed on Playstation 3 and 4's music service Vidzone or online at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yJnUJoH6Rg0

The Album Monuments is released today (October 1st 2014) on Ferocity Records and 3 Free tracks; 2 from the bands first EP and 1 from the new album can be downloaded at http://www.onenightstand.tv/watc/ "Monuments" can be purchased from http://watcofficial.bandcamp.com/ and all major online outlets.

About We Are The Catalyst
We Are The Catalyst was formed in Varberg, Sweden, by Cat Fey and Kenny B in November of 2012. Over the last 18 months We Are The Catalyst are fast establishing themselves as one of Europes most exciting musical talents. Their initial EP, Panem Et Circenses, was released to critical and fan acclaim alike and saw the bands first two videos aired in over 20 countries. Additionally a number of tracks from both the EP and the new album have found their way on to numerous soundtracks for movies due for release later this year and through 2015.

After several years of touring and releasing albums as members of the Swedish Modern Metal act One Without, (Who amongst other things toured with bands like Dead By April, Katatonia and Evergrey, was signed to Lifeforce Records and released two albums) both Kenny and Cat felt the need to do something different from what they had previously done both musically and ideologically.

The band released their first EP; "Panem Et Circenses" on May 2nd 2013. In November of 2013 WATC partnered with director Grzegorz Jonkajtys, the extraordinary visual effects artist famous for his work on such epic movies as Transformers, Pacific Rim, Terminator Salvation, Star Trek Into Darkness and Sin City, and made the extraordinary video for the single "Tomorrow". 2014 has so far seen the band finishing their debut album "Monuments", set for release on October 1st, as well as releasing the amazing video for "Being Number One", directed by Stephan Zlotescu, drawing attention to modern societies obsession with being the biggest, the fastest and the best. "Being Number One" challenges the need to have the newest and the latest, but in the video the topic is taken to the next level.
