Bostons Diecast schreiben zurzeit neue Songs f?r eine neue CD. Einen Besetzungswechsel wird es am Bass geben, da Brad Horion die Band verlassen hat. Hier ein Statement der Band:

We are currently in the writing process for our new record. Its going really great. DIECAST have changed so much over time that it allows us to try and do anything to ensure that our new record is unique and powerful. We are trying out so many new ideas to keep things fresh while maintaining the DIECAST sound from throughout the years. We should be in the studio in the beginning of 2008 and are eyeing an April to June release.

We are also planning to embark on a headlining U.S. tour starting October 26th. Its being booked as we speak and well keep everyone posted as soon as dates are locked in. In other news, we regret to inform everyone that Brad Horion will no longer be playing bass. As a lot of you know, Brad had just come back from knee surgery on the last leg of the SEVENDUST tour and was doing great, as well as having an awesome time, but due to an un for scene family issue Brad is forced to call it a day for music for now and tend to whats really important, his family. Brad will be missed and we wish him all best. DIECAST is now currently looking for a replacement bass player. Ill keep you all posted on anything else when it comes up and thanks again to all our great fans and friends who support us.

To apply for the DIECAST bassist position, you must have pro gear, be able to play and sing, have great stage presence, be able to tour non-stop, be trustworthy and most of all have a great attitude. Please, no overbearing vices. We are also located in Massachusetts, so whoever we take will have to be from that area or be able to travel to there.

In a sense we are trying to create the most D.I.Y. record weve ever made. This concept is precisely why we chose Tony Visconti to aid us in our vision. This is the first album we have not recorded with a click track since our first release and we are trying to make it sound as live and having as much energy as possible. When writing songs for this album we set out to challenge ourselves and anyone who has any preconceived notion of what Anti-Flag means, believes in, stands for and sounds like.

"We were excited that J. and Alap/Oktopus were willing to co-produce this album. It gave us a couple of pretty amazing opportunities: first of all, we got to have multiple perspectives on the songs and the recording, which just sort of expanded the possibilities. We were able to have the confidence that comes with working with a trusted and familiar producer, but also the "wild card" element that you get when working with someone new, especially someone from outside the community of engineers and producers that typically work with punk and hardcore bands."

"I wanted to work [Oktopus] because Daleks recordings sound totally insane, and I wanted to bring some of that to Paint It Black. Also, its clear from their recordings that he understands how to really blow out the low end. Im into that. Hardcore albums usually are over-focused on guitar and treat the bass as an afterthought. Its time to put that style to rest."

"I think there were new influences from both producers: Oktopus brought a density and texture to the recording that we never would have found without him, and not the density that comes from the typical HC overkill of 6 guitar tracks. Also, J., who works with a really wide variety of bands, had just finished a month-long session recording the new Modern Life is War album before us, which I think was a really different kind of project for him, and the ideas that were generated during those sessions about how to best document aggressive music were still fresh in his head when we got there."

Die Show ist eine Benefiz Show f?r den ehelmaligen Damage Vocalist Robby Redcheeks. Hier ein Statement des Promotors zur Show:

The benefit show was meant to be a special occasion where someone who is loved and cherished has suffered a tragedy or loss that alone he couldnt recover from. Robby Redcheeks lost his mother to cancer a week after This Is Hardcore Fest this summer. He called me when he was at Sound And Fury to tell me he isnt moving to California because she is sick and has been diagnosed with Leukemia. For most of us, the time between those two fests is spent on tour, working hard and always in anxious anticipation from one coast and great fest to another. To think that those few short weeks would be her last was inconceivable.

I am happy to be able to be one of the guys Robby can call on for help and to be able to give it to him. We will be holding a show in Philadelphia, a city that would not have a scene like we do today without the work he put into it 12 years ago.

Hatesphere haben sich von ihrem S?nger Jacob Bredahl getrennt. Hier das offizielle Statement der Band:

"As a result of personal issues, HateSphere and vocalist Jacob Bredahl have parted ways. This has been in the air for a little while now and is without doubt, the best decision for the band. Having to tour with a person whos not able to give it one hundred percent in the future and vice versa is pointless. Wed like to thank Jacob for 10 years of hard work and good times, and we wish him all the best in his future endeavours! This may come as a shock for many of you but we can only emphasize that HateSphere will continue and are already in the midst of auditioning new singers.

In effect of this and some unanticipated, economical circumstances, we have been forced to cancel our upcoming European tour with Dimmu Borgir and Amon Amarth. We are very sorry for that but have seen no other solution, as it would be too difficult to find a new singer in only ten days. The gigs we have after the tour will not be affected by this, and we promise you all to come back soon and make it up to you.

Jacob and Pepe have always been a part of what is called HateSphere, so no question that this is also weird for the rest of the band. As you probably know, Pepe has always been writing practically all the music, so as far as that matter goes, it shouldnt mean that much. Also, the song writing for the next album is about to start and we are looking forward to work together as a new and revitalized group.

We know all you fans will have tons of questions but whats been said here explains everything, so please refrain from asking questions regarding this subject. Jacob left on amicable terms and we are simply moving on. We realize this has to be weird for you guys, to see almost the entire band being replaced just within three months, but theres no other way and we have so much more music in us, so why stop now? Hopefully you will respect our decisions and support us in the future ? We are still here and will be back sooner than you think, to kick you in the ass!"

Die Autumn Offering haben die Arbeiten zu ihrer neue CD beendet. Der Titel lautet "Fear Will Cast No Shadow". Das neue Release wird am 30. Oktober ?ber Victory Records ver?ffentlicht.?Auf der MYSPACE von Autumn Offering kann man bereits einen neuen Song h?ren.

Nach 8 Jahren Bandgeschichte und 2 Ver?ffentlichungen via Lovelost und 1x1Music haben One Dead Three Wounded beschlossen sich aufzul?sen. Hier ein Statement der Band:

"So weve decided that its our time to move onto other things. We leave this behind with no regrets or bitterness. ODTW came together with the intention of writing songs and words that meant something to us. We were fortunate enough to gain a small group of people around the country that cared about our simple little songs. Many of them becoming dear friends along the way. Well be playing a few last shows as a way of putting this chapter of our lives to rest. We hope to see you there. We cant thank you all enough for the years of love and support."

Hilly Kristal ist gestern im Alter von 75 Jahren an Lungenkrebs gestorben. Er wurde bekannt als der Gr?nder des legend?ren Clubs CBGBs. Das CBGBs wurde 2006 geschlossen. Das CBGBs war lange Zeit das Herzst?ck des NYHC und das einstige Zuhause von Bands wie Agnostic Front, Gorilla Biscuits, Sick Of It All, Cro-Mags, Sheer Terror, Leeway, Warzone, Murphys Law, Bad Brains, Ramones, Talking Heads etc.

24	Heaven Shall Burn - Neues Album im Anflug Date: 24.08.2007 | Autor: NC-Head

Heaven Shall Burn sind wieder im Studio um das kommende Album ein zu spielen. Desweiteren starten die Herren diese Woche Los nach Japan um dort einige Show zu spielen. Hier eine Nachricht der Band direkt aus Saalfeld. "?Hallo wir sitzen hier grad? auf gepackten Koffern und in einigen Stunden geht es los in Richtung Japan; wir freuen uns riesig wieder dort unterwegs sein zu d?rfen und der Fakt, dass einige Shows schon ausverkauft sind macht uns nur noch hei?er dort zum Mosh zu blasen! Der Trip ist auch eine willkommene Abwechslung, da wir seit zwei Wochen wieder im Studio sind, um den Nachfolger f?r "Deaf To Our Payers" einzuh?mmern. Die Drums und ca. die H?lfte der Gitarren sind bereits im Kasten, es l?uft wirklich sehr gut und wir lieben die Songs! Gemixt wird dann im Herbst bei Tue Madsen in D?nemark - der Mann legt immer noch eine Schippe drauf und wir sind happy wieder mit ihm arbeiten zu k?nnen. Wann die CD dann endg?ltig erscheinen wird ist noch nicht ganz raus, aber wir haben den Januar 2008 angepeilt. Warum wir es so eilig haben mit der neuen Platte?! Wir wollten Euch nicht schon wieder zwei Jahre warten lassen und wir sind momentan wirklich in einem Kreativrausch, die unglaublichen Shows auf den Sommerfestivals und die wahnsinnige Unterst?tzung und Partylaune der Leute vor den riesigen B?hnen hat uns so gepusht, dass wir gar nicht mehr unseren Proberaum betreten k?nnen ohne wieder einen neuen Song zu schreiben!!!

Wir halten Euch weiter auf dem Laufenden was die Recordings angeht. Sobald wir aus Japan zur?ck sind geht es weiter im Studio. Auch den Plattentitel und erste Songnamen wird es bald geben.
